About the GIC... The Georgia Immunization Coalition (GIC) is comprised of agencies and individuals representing various community segments that are dedicated to improving immunizations.
Originally founded in 1996 under the name Georgia Coalition to Stop Influenza, the coalition focus was flu and pneumonia. However, the coalition has expanded its role to include all immunizations. Membership has also grown to include all disciplines involved in the immunization process. Membership includes but is not limited to: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Any person or organization that wishes to become a part of the
coalition
